Welcome Pack 2025
Lesson Guidelines
LESSON FEES
Lessons fees are to be paid in full before term commences. (Families can pay in installments, but this will need to be discussed prior to lessons commencing for the term.)
Lessons will be suspended, or your time slot forfeited to those on the waiting list, if fees are not paid on time.
Students will not be able to enrol in the follow term until the outstanding fees of the previous term have been paid in full.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
If the teacher cancels a lesson, they will reschedule a catch up lesson or credit you on the following term’s invoice.
Refunds will not be given for lessons permanently cancelled mid-term with less than 4 weeks’ notice.
Students temporarily suspending lessons can receive credit for the following term (to be used no later than mid-term of the consecutive term)
The lesson must be paid in full before attending.
RESCHEDULING
If the student can not make their usual lesson time and gives 24hrs notice, they will go on the waitlist and are able to book in their own catch up lesson using Calendly and select their time when a vacancy comes up. (Catchup lessons are subject to availability and redeemable only during that term.)

Group Lessons are non-refundable, and due to the nature of the lessons cannot be caught up.
LATE ARRIVALS
Please arrive on time. If students arrive late, they will only be taught for the remainder of the time slot allocated.
Missing 2 consecutive lessons without notification will forfeit your placement and offered to someone on the waiting list.
If you arrive early, please wait on the bench outside until the student before you exits.
What to Bring
Folder - with plastic sleeves for photocopies (usually for guitar/ukulele/singing.)
Music book - if you have a book you need to purchase, please do so before your first lesson. Photocopies will only be handed out for the first two weeks. If you already own your book, please bring it to every lesson.
Bring your instrument - Please bring your instrument with you to every class. I have back up guitars and ukuleles, but it is important each student uses their own instrument in lessons to have some continuity.
Note pad/Exercise book - to record homework, notes, communication to parents and other feedback.
PLEASE HAVE AN INSTRUMENT AT HOME YOU CAN PRACTICE ON.
It is important that students are able to practice between lessons every week, and not use their lesson as the only form of practice on an instrument.
